Pertemps People Development Group (PPDG) recently won the ‘People Development Award’ at the 2011 Birmingham Post Business Awards.
We won the award ahead of other short listed candidates Progressive Educational Tools and Bournville College.
The award was collected by a small group of delighted PPDG employees, and was presented by the broadcaster Andrew Neil, who was host for the event which attracted an audience of more than 500 guests from across the business community.
Birmingham Post Editor Alun Thorne said all the winners and those short listed should be particularly proud considering the quality of the entries.
A part of our submission for the award demonstrated how as a company PPDG employs its workforce based on interpersonal skills and work ethic along with successful applicants having a desire to constantly learn and grow.
With these fundamentals in place we are able to develop a highly successful team through an innovative and engaging training programme.
This tremendous award endorses our approach to the development of both our clients and employees. Coming off the back of our 4th place finish in this year’s Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For, it demonstrates that PPDG retains a people focussed approach at its very core, as the company continues to grow and develop.
